$l = \sqrt{ {h}^{2} + {r}^{2} } = \sqrt{ {3.5 }^{2} + {8.4}^{2} } \\ = \sqrt{12.25 + 70.56 } \\ = \sqrt{82.81} \\ = 9.1cm \\ csa \: of \: a \: cone =\pi \: r \: l \\ = \frac{22}{7} \times 3.5 \times 9.1 \\ = 100.1 {cm}^{2}$
