The radius of a copper sphere is 6 cm. the sphere is melted and drawn into a long wire of uniform circular cross section. if the length of the wire is 72 cm, then the radius of wire is ?

Using the formula 4/3pi×r×r×r=pi×R×R×h
Pi would be canceled on both sides
Then we'll put r=6 on the LHS
And h=72 on the RHS
We'll get the radius of the cylindrical wire
