given,
radius,r=7cm
slant height,l=25cm
height,h=root under(l^2-r^2)
= root under (25^2-7^2) cm
= 24 cm
volume = 1/3×22/7×7×7×24cm^3
= 1232 cm^3(ans)

hiii!!!

here's ur answer...

given :-

radius of the base of cone = 7 cm

length ( slant height ) of the cone = 25 cm

the formula to find the volume of a cone is 1/3 pi r^2h

so first of all, we have to find the height of the cone.

==> length^2 = height^2 + radius^2

==. 25^2 = height^2 + 7^2

==> 625 = height^2 + 49

==> 625 - 49 = height^2

==> 576 = height^2

==> height = 576^1/2

==> height = 24 cm

hence, height of the cone is 24 cm.

now volume of the cone = 1/3 pi r^2 h

= 1/3 * 22/7 * 7 * 7 * 24

= 22/3 * 7 * 24

= 22 * 7 * 8

= 1232 cm^3

hope this helps..!!
