The radius of the internal and external surfaces of a hollow spherical cell are 3cm and 5cm respectively.if it is melted and recast into a solid cylinder of height 2 2/3cm find the diameter of the cylinder​

( π and 3 get eliminated from both sides)

4*98                                  = R^2*8/3

( 3 from RHS in the denominator gets transposed to LHS in the numerator)

4*98*3                               = R^2*8

R^2                                    = 4*98*3/8

R^2                                    = 49

∴ R = √49

     = 7 cm

  D = 2R

∴ D = 2*7

      = 14 cm
