The Durg-Bastar-Chandrapur range has 14 deposits of Super High-Grade Haematite ore. This belt lies over the states of Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra.

Of this hilly range, the Bailadila mines produce High-Grade ore, which is mostly exported through the Port of Vishakhapatnam, to countries like Japan and South Korea. Some of the ore goes to the Bhilai Steel Plant.

Haematite is the mineral ore from which iron is extracted.

This belt lies in Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh. Iron from these mines is traded to abroad to South Korea and Japan by means of Vishakhapatnam port.

The Bailadila range of hills in the Bastar district of Chhattisgarh has very soaring grade hematite ore.
