The rate of the given equation is given is equal to rate =k [CCl3CHO] [NO]. The concentration will expressed in mol L^(-1).

The unit of k will expressed in L mol^(-1) s^(-1) due to following reasons:-

- The given reaction is expressed as,

CCl3CHO + NO ---> CHCl3 + NO + CO

- The rate of reaction is given as,

rate =k[CCl3CHO][NO]

- It is given that the concentration is expressed in mol L^(-1)

- As we know that,

Rate = dx/dt = k[CCl3CHO][NO]

- So, k = dx/dt[CCl3CHO][NO]

dx is the concentration expressed in terms of mol L^(-1)

whereas, dt is the time expressed in terms of s^(-1)

- By putting the values we have,

k = mol L^(-1)/s^(-1) × mol L^(-1) × mol L^(-1)

k = L mol^(-1)s^(-1).

- So, The unit of k is expressed as

L mol^(-1)s^(-1)
