The ratio between the ages of Mamatha & Samatha is 4:3. What will be the sum of their ages after 3 years​

TO FIND THEIR PRESENT AGES :

Let the ages be 4x and 3x

=> 4x + 3x = 28

=> 7x = 28

=> x = 28/7

=> x = 4

Age of Namrata = 4 × 4 = 16 years

Age of Divya = 3 × 4 = 12 years

THEIR AGES AFTER 4 YEARS :

Age of Namrata = 16 + 4 = 20 years

Age of Divya = 12 + 4 = 16 years
