the ratio fo the present ages of two brothers is 1:2 and 5years back the ratio was 1:3 .what will be the ratio of their ages after 5 years?

let present ages be x and 2x

5 years back  x-5/2x-5 = 1/3

3x-15 = 2x-10

x= 5

so present ages 5 and 10

after 5 years ratio will be 5+5:10+5 = 10:15 =  2:3
