Heya mate, Here is ur answer

Let the common ratio be x.

So,weight of brass =3x .

Weight of copper=5x .

Given that weight of copper in alloy is 3.2 kg.

A/Q

Weight of copper=3.2 kg

5x=3.2

x =  \frac{3.2}{5} \\  \\ x =  \frac{32}{5 \times 10 } \\  \\  \\x =  \frac{32}{50}

So, weight of brass =3 x

 = 3 \times  \frac{32}{50}

  = \frac{96}{50}

=1.92 kg.

So, weight of brass in Alloy =1.92 kg

Solutions :-

Given :

The ratio of brass and copper in an alloy = 3 : 5
The weight of copper is 3.2 kg

Let the weight of brass in the alloy be x

Find the weight of brass in the alloy :-

A/q

=> 3/5 = x/3.2
=> 5 × x = 3.2 × 3
=> 5x = 9.6
=> x = 9.6/5 = 1.92

Hence,
The weight of brass in the alloy is 1.92 kg
