the ratio of diameter of two circle is 4: 5 .Find out ratio of their areas

Let the diameter be d1=4x ;d2=5x
r1=2x ;r2=5x/2

$\pi \times r ^{2}$
ratio=(22/7×4x^2)/(22/7×25x^2/4)
on solving we get the ratio as 16/25...i.e.16:25

☆ Area of circle = pie r^2
☆ Area of circle with 4x as diameter = 22/7×4x^2
☆ Area of circle with raduis 5x = 22/7 ×(25)^2× 2/4
☆ Ratio = 16: 25
