The ratio is given as 3 :4
so we get equation
2x + 5/3x + 5 = 3/4
》( 2x + 5 ) × 4 = ( 3x + 5 ) × 3
》8x + 20 = 9x + 15
》20 - 15 = 9x - 8x
》5 = x
》x = 5
So the present age of Anjali is 2 × 5 = 10 years
And the present age of Ashu is 3 × 5 = 15 years

then, 2/3=x/y
=> 2y=3x
=> y = 3x/2
after five years
=> 3/4 = (x+5)/(y+5)
=> 3y+15=4x+20
putting the value of y
=> (3*3x)/2 = 4x + 5
=> 9x = 8x + 10
=> x = 10
since x = 10 therefore y will be 15.
