Answer:

generally the given ratio 2:3 are not original so we assume the numbers as 2x,3x

then, he given after adding 8 to each number it will become 10:13

then equations will be,

2x+3:3x+8=10:13

w.k.t,

a:b=a/b

the equations will be 2x+3/3x+8=10/13

solve equations we get x=6 the number will be 12 18

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

X:Y is 2:3

3X=2Y(cross multiplication)

3X-2Y=0.............(1)

Now add 8 on both sides

X+8:Y+8 is 10:13

13X+104=10Y+80 (cross multiplication)

13X-10Y=-24...............(2)

By elimination method in equation 1 and 2

X=12 and Y=36
