Solution

Let,

• The 1st side of parallelogram is 2x : 5x

we know,

• The parallel side of parallelogram are always equal to each other .

So,

• Other parallel side is also be 2x : 5x

Calculation

» 2x + 5x + 2x + 5x = 70

» 4x + 10x = 70

» 14x = 70

» x = 70/14

» x = 5 cm

Hence

• The side First side parallelogram is

» 2x = 2 × 5 = 10cm

» 5x = 5 × 5 = 25cm

So,

• other side of parallelogram is also 10 and 25 cm
