area of rectangle= l x b

l=15 cm
b=45 cm
15 x 14 =210 square cm

area of square =a x a
a=48
48 x 48 = 2304 square cm
hence the area of square is more by 2094 cm square

Heya,

Here is the answer:-

Given:-

》Rectangle:-
Length = 15cm
Breadth = 45cm

》Square:-
Side = 48cm

Area of rectangle = l × b

Area of rectangle = 15 × 45

Area of rectangle = 675cm^2

Area of square = s^2

Area of square = 48^2

Area of square = 2304cm^2

Therefore,

Area of square is greater than the area of rectangle.

=> 2304 - 675
=> 1629

Area of square is greater than the area of rectangle by 1629cm^2

Hope my answer helps you :)

Shobana
