Baghat Singh was a socialist revolutionary freedom fighter of India. He believed in the socialistic ideas of Marx. He was critical of Gandhi's non-violence as he thought these things fetch no results.

He believed in the armed struggle in order to end the British colonial rule. So he joined Hindustan Socialist Republic Association and launched various attacks on the British establishments and colonial officials. He also inspired and raised a network of revolutionaries. He threw bomb in Central Assembly and raised the slogan "Long Live Revolution". He was later arrested and hanged on 23rd March 1931.
