It has been found that the earth has an inner core that is solid and molten core by a Danish Seismologist Inge Lehmann. The inner core of the planet Earth is made up of iron and nickel alloy which is completely a solid where the outer layer is liquid that can be seen around the inner core.

It has been estimated that the radius of the inner core is about 70 percentage of the moon surface which is 1,220 kilometers and the temperature is similar to the temperature of the surface of Sun which is 5,430 degree Celsius just because of the inter tectonic plates friction.
