In this garden at the semi-circular ends if we join these two semi-circles it will create a circle.

.

. . Area of ABCD= l×b

= 30×5=150

Area of the circle = πr²

Radius = 5/2=2.5

= 22/7×2.5²

= 22/7×6.25

= 137.5/7

= 19.64

Area of the garden= Area of ABCD + Area of Circle

= 150+19.64

= 169.64

.

. . Perimeter of ABCD= 2(l+b)

= 2(30+5)

= 70

Perimeter of the circle= 2πr

= 2×22/7×2.5

= 110/7

= 15.71

Perimeter of the garden= Perimeter of ABCD + Perimeter of Circle

= 70+15.71

= 85.71

.

. . So the Area and perimeter of the garden is 169.64 and 85.71 .
