Let the sides of the triangle be a,b,c where

a = 7cm

b = 25cm

c = 24cm

Semi perimeter (s)= a+b+c/2

=7+25+24/2

=56/2

=28cm

By Heron's Formula,

Area of triangle=√s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

=√28(28-7)(28-25)(28-24)

=√28*21*3*4

=√2*2*7*3*7*3*2*2

=2*2*3*7

=84cm square

Now,area of triangle=1/2*base*height ( perpendicular=height)

84=1/2*25*height

84*2=25*height

164/25=height

32.8/5=height

328/50=height

65.6/10=height

Height=6.56cm

Thus,the length of the perpendicular from the opposite vertex of side whose length is 25cm is 6.56cm.
