perimeter of equilateral ∆ = 3(side)
side 2x+3 ....
perimeter = 3(2x+3) = 240
6x+9 = 240
6x = 240-9
6x = 231
x = 231/6
x = 38.5
side of ∆ = 2x+3
2*38.5+3
77+3
80cm
......
we can verify it by finding the perimeter...
3x = 240
80*3 = 240
hence verified..

hope it helps...

answer

38.5

Step-by-step explanation:

perimeter of equilateral ∆ = 3(side)

side 2x+3 ....

perimeter = 3(2x+3) = 240

6x+9 = 240

6x = 240-9

6x = 231

x = 231/6

x = 38.5
