7.5 , 10.5 , 12 , 16.5  , 28.5  are the sides of Larger polygon

Step-by-step explanation:

The sides of a polygon have lengths 5,7,8,11 and 19 cm

Perimeter of polygon = 5 + 7 + 8 + 11 + 19  = 50 cm

perimeter of a similar polygon is 75cm

Ratio of Sides = Ratio of Perimeter

=> 5/A  = 7/B  = 8/C  = 11/D  = 19/E  =  50/75

=> 5/A  = 7/B  = 8/C  = 11/D  = 19/E  = 2/3

=> A = 7.5

    B = 10.5

    C = 12

    D = 16.5

    E = 28.5

7.5 , 10.5 , 12 , 16.5  , 28.5  are the sides of Larger polygon

Answer:

  • P1/P2=A/F=B/G=C/H=D/I=E/J
  • so first add the sides of the polygon to find P1
  • P1=5+7+8+11+19=50cm
  • 50cm/75cm=5/F=7/G=8/H=11/I=19/J
  • 2/3=5/F
  • F=3×5/2
  • F=7.5 cm
  • 2/3=7/G
  • G=3×7/2
  • G=10.5 cm
  • 2/3=8/H
  • H=3×8/2
  • H=12 cm
  • 2/3=11/I
  • I=3×11/2
  • I=16.5 cm
  • 2/3=19/J
  • J=3×19/2
  • J=28.5 cm

SO THE ANSWERS ARE 7.5 cm, 10.5 cm, 12cm, 16.5 cm, 28.5 cm
