Solution

Let the sides of a rectangle be 6x and 5x. Then,

Area of a rectangle = length × breadth

=> 3,630 = 6x × 5x

=> 3,630 = 30x^2

=> 3,630/30 = x^2

=> 121 = x^2

=> x = √121

=> x = 11

Hence , length = 6 × 11 = 66m

and breadth = 5 × 11 = 55m.

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l + b)

= 2(66 + 55)

= 2(121)

= 242m
