Answer:

Let sides be a, b, and c

a=5cm

b=12cm

Let, c be the hypotenuse

Using Pythagoras Theorem,

c²= a² + b²

c²= 5² + 12²

c²= 25 + 144

c²= 169

c = 13

Therefore, hypotenuse is 13cm

Ans.-13cm

Hope it helps you!

Hey Pretty Stranger!

We have to find the hypotenuse of the right angled triangle.

From Pythagoras Theorem :

(Hypotenuse)² = (Perpendicular)² + (Base)²

Let the measure of perpendicular be 5 cm & base be 12 cm.

→ (h)² = (5)² + (12)²

→ h² = 25 + 144

→ h² = 169

→ h = √169

h = 13 cm

\therefore Hypotenuse of the right angled triangle is 13 cm.
