Let the length be 7x

Let the breadth be 3x

Ar of rect. = length x breadth

1029 = (7x) (3x)

1029 = 21x²

1029/21 = x²

x² = 49

x = 7

Length = 7x = 7(7) = 49m

Breadth = 3x = 3(7) = 21m

Perimeter of rect. = 2(length + breadth)

= 2 (49+21)

= 140m

rectangle of one side is 49m and other side is 21m. perimeter of rectangle is 140m.

3x×7x=1029
21x^2=1029
x^2= 49
x=7
3x = 3 (7) = 21m
7x = 7 (7) =49m

perimeter = 2 (x +y) = 2 (21 + 49) = 2 (70) = 140m
