let ABC a triangle

AB =17cm

BC  =15cm

CA  = 8cm

by herons formula =

underroot  s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

where S is = semi perimeter of triangle

therefore , perimeter of triangle = (sum of all side) = 17+15+8 = 40

  semi perimeter =40/2=20

by herons formula

underroot 20(20-17)(20-15)(20-8)

= underroot 20*3*5*12 = underroot 60*60  (  *  = sign of multiply )

therefore area of triangle = 60cm2

area of triangle = 1/2 * base x height

1/2 * 17*?=60=120/17 ans

hey friend !!!....

it's easy ....☺

The side of triangle are 8 cm ,15 cm ,17 cm..

so,by using herons formula.....
S=1/2(a+b+c)

=>S=1/2(15+8+17)

=>1/2(40)

>20cm....

now formula is ...

【√s(s-a(s-b)(s-c)】

=>√20(20-8)(20-15)(20-17)

=>√5*2*2*2*2*3*5*3

=>5*2*2*3

=>60 cm^2 Ans .

.hope it help you ...bro....<
