here you go ☆☆

m=h(i)/h(o)

1=h(i)/2

1×2=h(i)

i.e.

height of image =2

m is +ve,

image formed is virtual and erect.

hope it helps you.......:)

meenakshiabinaya: sir wht will be the size of the image
RAMAN001: height of image = size of image
RAMAN001: i.e.= 2

Answer : The size of the image is as same as that of object i.e. 2 cm.

Explanation :

It is given that,

Size of an object, h=2\ cm

Magnification, m = +1

We know that the magnification is defined as the ratio of the height of the image to the height of the object.

The positive value of magnification shows that the image is virtual and erect. It is formed by convex mirror.

m=\dfrac{h'}{h}

h' is the height of the image.

h is the height of the object.

1=\dfrac{h'}{2\ cm}

h'=+2\ cm

So, the size of the image is 2 cm.

Hence, this is the required solution.
