of sides. The exterior angle of a square is 90°.
a) The exterior angle of a regular polygon is 9º. How many sides does it have?
b) If the number of sides of a regular polygon is doubled, by what factor does the exterior
angle change?

40 sides

as square has 4 sides

exterior angle =90°

360/4= 90

polygon

360/x= 9°

x= 360/9

x= 40

no. of sides = 40

as it is given that ext angle is inversely proportional to no. of sides

if x=> 2x

y = 9/2

exterior angle will reduce by half of its value
