hey mate here is your answer^^

Sound travels in waves like light or heat does, but unlike them, sound travels by making molecules vibrate. So, in order for sound to travel, there has to be something with molecules for it to travel through. On Earth, sound travels to your ears by vibrating air molecules. In deep space, the large empty areas between stars and planets, there are no molecules to vibrate. There is no sound there.

hope u understand

dimpledurga49: thank you but I have a doubt
dimpledurga49: in space there is no only oxygen but something is there no......enough Oxygen and all gases is there but in space only there is no oxygen. some gases is there sound need only something, have to there, it's did not care about there is no oxygen or other gases.... is it right or wrong....
MegN: space is a vaccum
MegN: there is nothing in there
MegN: it has no atmosphere
MegN: that's why sound cannot be passed in it
MegN: to be more precise sound cannot be travelled in vaccum
