Given : h²=72
now, h²=p²+b²
since it is a isosceles triangle the length of perpendicular and base are equal.
let it be x
h²=x²+x²
72=2x²
x²=72/2
x²=36
x=6
length of perpendicular and base =6 cm
length of hypotenuse =√72=6√2 cm
