Hey dear,

● Answer -
2200 Hz

● Explaination-
# Given-
f = 440 Hz
l' = l/5

# Solution-
Frequency of wave on string is given by-
f = nc / 2l ...(1)

When length is 1/5th -
f' = nc / 2l'
f' = nc / 2l/5
f' = 5nc / 2l ...(2)

From (1) & (2),
f' = 5f
f' = 5 × 440
f' = 2200 Hz

Changed frequency of violin will be 2200 Hz.

Hope this helps...
