Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

a3 +a7 =6

a +2d +a+6d=6

a+4d =3

a =3-4d ----(1)

a3 x a7 = 8

(a+2d)(a+6d) =8

Subtituiting.(1)...

(3-4d +2d)(3-4d+6d)=8

(3-2d)(3+2d) = 8

9-4d^2 =8

d = 1/2

Therefore... a =1

S16= 16/2(2x1+15x1/2)

= 8(2+15/2)

= 4x19

= 76
