therfore Five years from now means x + 5

& three years ago means x - 3

Now sum of their reciprocal is 3

1/x+5 + 1/x -3 = 3

x - 3 + x + 5/x2 +2x - 15 = 3

2x + 2 = 3x2 + 6x - 75

3x2 + 4x - 77 = 0

x=-3(or)x=7

Age cannot be negative
