The sum of reciprocals of two numbers is 45 if one of the number is double the others what is sum of the two numbers

number = x   reciprocal = 1/x

other number = 2x  reciprocal = 1/2x

1/x + 1/2x = 45

2 + 1 = 90x

3 = 90x

x = 3/90 = 1/30

So first number = 1/30

second number = 2/30 or 1/15

Sum = 1/30 + 2/30 = 3/30 = 1/10
