LET THE ORIGINAL NUMBER BE (10x + y).

and the reversed number be (10y+x).

thus according to the question,

1. x+y=9

and 10y+x=10x+y-9

9y-9x=-9

2. x-y=1

using elimation method :

x - y = 1

x + y = 9

__________(on adding)

2x + 0 = 10

2x = 10

x = 5

now , x+y=9

y=9-5

y=4

thus original number = 54
