let 2 numbers be x and 10-x [since their sum.is 10]

now 18 is subtracted from the digits ,i.e.
(x-18)and the other digit is(10-x-18)
now it's given that the digits are equal
So, x-18=10-x-18
on solving we get x=5
hence , the resulting number is 55
