let the one's place and 2nd place digits are X and y

therefore the number is=10y+X

now ...

condition 1

X+y=12

condition 2

10y+X+18=10x+y

=>9y+18=9x

=>y+2=X.

=>X-y=+2

now solving the equations...

X+y=12

X-y=2

=>2x=14

=>X=7

therefore..y=5

therefore the number is =5(10)+7=57
