The sum of the measure of both angles in every pair of interior angles on the same side of the transversal is supplementary.


Actually there is a theorem under the same side interior angles topic which states that if there are two interior angles on the same side of traversal then it will be called as supplementary angles.


Again there will be two cases firstly when the lines are parallel then the sum of interior angle will be 180 degree and for non Parallel Lines it won't be 180 degree.
