Fraction = 5/9

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x be the numerator and y the denominator.

Fraction will be x/y.

Given:

(x + y) - 4 = 2x

-x + y = 4 -------------(1)

(x +3)/(y+3) = (2/3)

3x - 2y = -3 -------------(2)

Adding (1)*2 and (2), we get: +x = +5

Substituting x= 5 in equation 1, we get -5 + y = 4

Therefore y = 9

Hence solved. x = 5, y = 9

So the fraction will be x/y = 5/9
