Hlo mate :-
Solution :-
__________________________________________________________________________________________
Let
Sn = 1/2 + 1/3 + 1/6 ............... an
This is an A.P. with
a (first term) = 1/2
and d (common difference)
= a2 - a1
= -1/6
:- therefore
Sn = n/2 [2a + (n-1)d]
Sn = 9/2 [1/2 + ( 9-1)(-1/6 )]
Sn = 9/2 [1/2 - 8/6]
Sn = 9/2 [(3-8)/6]
Sn = 9/2 (-5/6)
Sn = -15 / 4
