3x= 171

X= 171/3

Solution :-

Let us assume that, the three consecutive integers are (x - 1) , x and (x + 1) .

So,

→ (x - 1) + x + (x + 1) = 174

→ x + x + x - 1 + 1 = 174

→ 3x = 174

→ x = 58

therefore,

→ Smallest number = (x - 1) = 58 - 1 = 57

→ Middle number = x = 58

→ Largest number = (x + 1) = 58 + 1 = 59 .
