Let the smaller no.be = x
the bigger no.be = x+100
sum of no.'s= 1000
now,
x+x+100=1000
2x+100=1000
2x=1000-100
2x=900
x=900/2
x=405
the bigger no.be = x+100
sum of no.'s= 1000
now,
x+x+100=1000
2x+100=1000
2x=1000-100
2x=900
x=900/2

Let smaller number be x
Then, bigger number = (x+100)
According to question,
x+x+100 = 1000
=2x+100 = 1000
=2x = 1000-100
=2x = 900
= x = 900÷2
= x = 450
Hence, the smaller number is 450
Then, bigger number = (x+100)
According to question,
x+x+100 = 1000
=2x+100 = 1000
=2x = 1000-100
=2x = 900
= x = 900÷2
= x = 450
Hence, the smaller number is 450
