Given that,

find \: sum  \: of  \: zeroes \:  of \: the \:  polynomial \:   {x}^{3}  - 8 {x}^{2}  - x + 6 = 0

Let,

  • a = 1
  • b = -8
  • c = -1
  • d = 6

α + ß + γ = -b/a = -(-8)/1 = 8

αß + ßγ + αγ = c/a = -1/1 = -1

αßγ = -d/a = -6/1 = -6

Hence, it is solved...
