If there are different local times within a country, because of longitudinal differences, then there will be a lack of synchronization in the routine activities in the country. If each one follows their own local time, discrepancies emerge in carrying out daily business in the country. Therefore, generally the local time at the middle of the country is deemed to be the standard time for that country. This standard time is used all over the country. So, all the watches in India show the same time.

This is because of different longitude and Same IST (Indian Standard Time).

-Arunachal Pradesh and Gujarat are located at a different longitudes. But, Both Longitudes have same Time.

As, Gujarat and Arunachal Pradesh have different longitudes, So it is found that, the Sun rises earlier in Arunachal Pradesh as compared to Gujarat. We know that, The Time of each location in a specific country is same. Either it's Longitudes are different or any there is far distance between them. Therefore, Sunrises earlier in Arunachal Pradesh due to their different Longitudes.

-Gujarat lies between 68° E and 74° E longitude.

-Arunachal Pradesh is located between 91.20° E and 97.30° E longitude

-Arunachal Pradesh is located at Eastern part of India. It means that, there will be very Huge distance in time.

Reason for time difference:

1) India is located at 30° longitude. (Time will be same everywhere even there are different longitudes).

2) There is 30° longitudes between Arunachal pradesh and Gujarat.

3) 30°* 4 mins = 120 mins

4) 120 Mins is equal to 2 Hours.

Hence, There is a 2 hours time different between Gujarat and Arunachal Pradesh but watches shows same time.
