The sun appears oval (or flattened) at sunrise and sunset, but appears circular at noon. Explain, why?

Due to atmosphere refraction , We see sunrise 2 minutes earlier n sunset 2 minutes late wch is not the actual sunrise n sunset but the apparent sunrise n sunset. So the rising portion of the round sun appears to us elongated . So we perceive the sun to be oval. HOPE IT HELPED :). Regards ilml
