The east- west distance of India is approximately 3000 km.
Here , as we know that the sun rises in the east so , the first rise of sun starts from the east side of India . Because of the vast distance between east and west of India , sun rises 2 hours late in Gujarat ( as compared to the Arunachal Pradesh ) .
Hence , the time difference between east ( Arunachal Pradesh ) and west ( Gujarat ) is 2 hours .
Because of these time difference ……
In India we have standard time at whole country by the standard meridian of India ( 82°30′E ) passing through Mirzapur in Uttar Pradesh is taken as standard time for whole country .
Because of the Standard Time for whole country is same
Hence, in East ( Arunachal ) and in west (Gujarat ) the watches show the same time

hence forth watches shows the same time
