Given :  Surface area of cuboid = 1300 cm²

Breadth of cuboid ,b = 10 cm

Height of cuboid ,h = 20 cm

Let the length of the cuboid be  l cm.

Surface area of cuboid = 1300 cm²

2(lb + bh + hl) = 1300

2(l × 10 + 10 × 20 + 20 × l) = 1300

(10 l + 200 + 20 l) = 1300/2

10 l + 200 + 20 l = 650

10 l + 20 l + 200 = 650

30 l = 650 - 200

30 l = 450

l = 450/30

l = 45/3

l = 15 cm

Hence, its length is 15 cm.

Given :

  •  Surface area of cuboid = 1300 cm²

  • Breadth of cuboid = 10 cm

  • Height of cuboid = 20 cm

Let the length of the cuboid be  l cm.

Formula used: surface area of cuboid =2(lb+bh+hl)

Solution:

Surface area of cuboid = 1300 cm²

2(lb + bh + hl) = 1300

2(l × 10 + 10 × 20 + 20 × l) = 1300

(10 l + 200 + 20 l) = 1300/2

10 l + 200 + 20 l = 650

10 l + 20 l + 200 = 650

30 l = 650 - 200

30 l = 450

l = 450/30

l = 45/3

l = 15 cm
