Answer:

let ratio be x

so,

surface area of hemisphere 1 (S1) = 64

surface area of hemisphere 2 (S2) = 25

as per question

surface area of hemisphere 1 (S1) = 64

3× π × r1 ^2 = 64

r1^2 = 64/3π equation 1

surface area of hemisphere 2 (S2) = 25

3 × π × r2^2 = 25

r2^2 = 25/3π equation 2

now,

divide equation 1 by 2

r1^2 / r2^2 = (64/3π ) / (25/3π)

r1^2 / r2^2 = 64/25

(r1/r2)^2 =64/25

r1 / r2 = 64/25

r1 / r2 = 8:5 is your required answer
