Answer:

5000 adults and 5000 children attended the cricket match

Step-by-step explanation:

let number of children be x

let number of adults be y

x + y = 10000      ............ equation 1

total sales from children's tickets = number of children * price of  1 child ticket

= 50x

total sales from adult's tickets = number of adults * price of 1 adult ticket

= 100y

but total sales = 750000

so 50x + 100y = 750000

so 50 ( x + 2y ) = 750000

so x + 2y = 750000/50

so x + 2y = 15000      .............. equation 2

subtract equation 2 - equation 1

=> ( x + 2y = 15000 ) - ( x + y = 10000 )

=>2y -  y = 15000 - 10000

=> y =  5000

apply y = 5000 in equation 1:

x + y = 10000

x = 10000 - y = 10000 - 5000

= 5000

So 5000 adults and 5000 children attended the cricket match
