GIVEN:-
TSA OF CYLINDER=231CM^2
CSA OF CYLINDER=2/3×TSA OF CYLINDER

TO FIND:-
¡)DIAMETER AND
¡¡)HEIGHT OF CYLINDER

SOLUTION:-
¡)CSA OF CYLINDER=2/3×TSA....(1)
2×22/7×R×H=2/3×2×22/7×R (R+H)
R×H/R (R+H)=2/3
H/(R+H)=2/3
3H=2R+2H
H=2R.SUB IN (1)
2/3×231=2×22/7×R×H
231/3=22/7×R×2R
77×7/22=2R^2
3.5×7=2R^2
24.5/2=R^2
12.25=R^2
R=3.5CM
THEN
H=2R
=7CM
