The numbers are consecutive multiples of 3.
Let of the numbers be 3x
Other number should be 3(x+1)

Sum = 51
⇒ 3x + 3(x+1) = 51
⇒ 3x + 3x + 3 = 51
⇒ 6x + 3 = 51
⇒ 6x = 51 - 3 = 48
⇒ x = 48/6
⇒ x = 8

Numbers are:
3x = 3×8 = 24
3(x+1) = 3(8+1) = 27
