opposite sides of a parallelogram are equal so 3:4 is for measurement of adjacent sides.

length is greater than breadth so given length
4.2=length i.e. 4x and unknown breadth =3x.

If 4x=4.2
x=4.2÷4
x=1.05cm

Breadth = 3x=1.05×3= 3.15
so length = 4.2cm and breadth =3.15
Finally perimeter of a parallelogram is 2(L+B)
2(4.2+3.15)
2×7.35= 14.70cm^2 (ANS)

Answer:

14.70cm

Step-by-step explanation:

w/l =3x/4x

4x=4.2

4÷4.2

x=1.05

L=4x=4×1.05cm=4.20cm

W=3x =3×1.05cm =3.15cm

perimeter of parallelogram =2(4.20+3.15cm)

=2×7.35cm

=14.70cm
